“Duet,” is a small, graceful and intimate work carved in warm pink marble.
Two forms emerge together from a shared base, splitting apart like a pair of dancers caught in synchronized motion. Smooth, polished surfaces contrast beautifully with the rougher, natural texture of the stone at the base, a journey from raw potential into refined expression. The way the two elements rise in parallel yet diverge slightly creates a sense of balance, partnership, and independence.
